I have now flown all models of the Airush 07’ range and I must say there is something for everyone.

* The DNA and Flow are super forgiving SLE’s with stability and depower as their dominating traits.
* The Halo is for the pure Bow enthusiast, highly efficient and excellent for cruising and big floaty jumps.
* The Lift is your old school C-kite for the rider who feels the Reactor is a bit too fast.
* The Reactor is just outright amazing bar – holy shit this kite is insane, it does everything, super fast, super stable, lots of depower, lots of feedback but not heavy on bar, perfect turning, easy relaunch, easy tuning on depowerstrap – well done – this is the best kite I’ve ever flown – and this was in pretty shifty crappy wind..

This is the high-performance kite in the Airush range and my, does it fly this year. The Reactor is more stable, has a wider windrange and is still without a doubt the best steering kite on the market in terms of speed and predictability – the weapon of choice for any aspiring freestyler or waverider. This kite is the King of Unhooked riding – no wonder Felix kills it on this kite. What really impressed me with the new Reactor is that it has all it’s previous greats but now with even more depower – the 7m honestly feels like it’s got Bow-kite depower.

It makes me wonder what the future holds, we all went a bit Bow, Flat, SLE crazy over the past 2 years, but riding the new Reactor I reckon you could let any beginner ride this kite and he’d have ample depower and safety with out all the complications. Ok it would have to be slowed down a bit – but food for thought…..
